How much does a pool cost?
Most pools start around $25,000. There are several variables that will affect the price of a custom pool project. Those variables include: type of pool, options and add-on’s, decking materials, fencing, and landscaping. These are all ways to truly customize your pool and backyard space but also affect the final price tag. At Envision Pools we have constructed backyard projects for as little as $29,000 to more than $300,000! We will be happy to meet with you and design a custom backyard project that meets your needs and budget.
How long does a typical pool project take?
Just like price, there are many variables that impact how long a project takes. The type of pool, the scope and complexity of the project, the time of year, and the weather all play a role in the length of time it will take us to complete your pool project. However, the average time your yard will be under construction is about 4-to-6 weeks.
What is a salt water pool?
A “salt water” pool is actually a pool that contains water that is chlorinated through electrolysis. Electrolytic chlorine generation is an easy, effective, and convenient way to keep your pool water sanitized and clean. A salt generation system uses common table salt to naturally produce the chlorine your pool needs. The process is safe and effective, and the best part, automatic. Salt sanitation gives your pool the same performance as adding chlorine tablets without the drawbacks. You will not need to buy, transport, or store expensive chlorine tabs. Salt sanitation also eliminates odor, eye and skin irritation, and bleach-damaged swimsuits. With salt sanitation, maintaining your pool is considerably easier.
Will a pool project damage my yard?
There’s no way around it; building a pool is a large construction process. We will need to bring large equipment into your yard including excavators, skid steers, dump trucks, and delivery trucks. While the project is underway there will be considerable damage to your lawn. However, when the project is complete, we will give you the option of having us repair your yard or give you a rough grade to re-seed and straw the yard on your own. It is always our recommendation that you allow us to make the complete repairs to your yard so the project has a professionally completed look when we leave your property.
